In AEG airsoft guns, there is a circuit that operates the motor. When the fire switch closes, the circuit is created, unfortunately, with higher voltage axes, the fire switch is slowly damaged, charred and dirty, which worsens the reaction time of the weapon.
The solution to this is the FET, the MOSFET or the control electronics or the active brake, each of them has different functions. The mosfet and the simple fet control how much current the motor receives, the active brake immediately stops the motor as soon as the circuit is interrupted, while the processor unit the weapon becomes programmable (for example, firing modes can be set). Gearboxes with microswitches are becoming more common, as microswitches have less chance of error and better reaction time and a much longer service life.
